Colon hydrotherapy is not typically covered by insurance and is considered a self-pay wellness service. Some clients use HSA or FSA funds if their plan allows. Coverage is determined by your individual provider.
We accept major debit and credit cards, HSA/FSA cards (when permitted by your plan), and Afterpay at checkout for eligible purchases. Payment options are available for online bookings, in-person payments, and select invoices.
No referral is required for most appointments. Clients may schedule independently, whether referred by a healthcare provider, wellness professional, or personal contact.
For certain health conditions or concerns, provider clearance may be required prior to scheduling or receiving services. This is determined on a case-by-case basis to support client safety.
All services are client-initiated and offered on a self-pay basis.
We reserve the right to request additional information when appropriate.
Sessions begin at the scheduled time. Please arrive 15 minutes early to complete your intake questionnaire and use the restroom if needed. Late arrivals may result in reduced session time to maintain the schedule for all clients. Missed or late-cancelled appointments are subject to our standard booking policies.
No, this is done in a professional, private therapy room, your therapist is only in the therapy room at the beginning of your session to provide instructions. You remain beneath a sheet throughout the session.
Some clients notice mild fullness, movement, pressure, or temporary cramping. Pain is not an expected part of the experience. You remain in control of the session and should stop immediately if you experience pain, significant dizziness, nausea, bleeding, shortness of breath, or another concerning symptom.
The complete appointment generally requires approximately 60 minutes. The colon hydrotherapy portion is scheduled for up to 45 minutes, with additional time allowed for instructions, changing, restroom use, and questions.
To prepare for your colon hydrotherapy session, we recommend avoiding solid foods for at least two hours beforehand and staying well-hydrated. Your therapist will also take time to discuss your health history and answer any questions to ensure your comfort.
Yes. Most clients continue with their regular routines after treatment. Some choose to rest or hydrate if needed.
There is no standard schedule that is appropriate for every person. Some clients choose a single wellness visit, while others prefer a short series. Frequency is based on personal preference, health screening, and provider direction when applicable. Natural Wellness H2O does not prescribe a medical treatment schedule.
Colon hydrotherapy may be inappropriate for people with certain active gastrointestinal conditions, unexplained rectal bleeding, suspected bowel obstruction, known or suspected intestinal perforation, medically unstable heart or kidney disease, pregnancy, recent surgery, or other significant health concerns.Some medical histories require written provider clearance rather than an automatic denial. Occasional constipation is one reason some clients inquire about colon hydrotherapy. Natural Wellness H2O does not diagnose or treat constipation. Clients with new, severe, painful, persistent, or unexplained constipation should consult a licensed healthcare provider.Do not schedule colon hydrotherapy for constipation accompanied by vomiting, fever, rectal bleeding, severe abdominal pain, marked distention, or inability to pass gas without first receiving medical evaluation.
Provider-directed colonoscopy preparation support may be available with advance coordination. A provider order or written instruction may be required, and clients must complete health-history and contraindication screening.Natural Wellness H2O does not replace the prescribing provider’s diet, medication, laxative, or procedure instructions. Appointment Arrival
Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment for restroom visits, decompression, etc. Regretfully, untimely arrivals may be subject to reduced treatment time or rescheduling of the appointment, in order to remain on schedule for subsequent guests.
